Day 30: Volunteering makes me happy. I enjoyed every minute manning the Animal Advocates tent last year with cohort, Cynthia (also a vegan–woo hoo!). Beautiful weather, beautiful doggies to pet and cuddle, beautiful people–friendly, helpful, smiling–made for an amazing experience; one I plan on repeating this year. I want to meet Victoria Moran, the author of Main Street Vegan (great introduction for the vegan curious or newbies), and get my yoga on with others in the Yoga Tent, too.

If you’ve never volunteered, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s addictive.
