Enjoyed a delightful (and rare) Thursday night Happy Hour at Elizabeth’s Gone Raw with a new friend, Stephanie. We loved our refreshing cocktails and shared several small plates of scrumptious raw dishes. Stephanie let me bogart most of the dessert. I’m not a big flan lover, but this parsnip chamomile flan with cucumber, apple, and elderflower soup (the soup, especially) was a party for my taste buds!
Definitely visiting again. The restaurant itself is gorgeous (downstairs bar and upstairs dining photos) and (great news) full of people eating its healthy, vegan food.
Extra! Extra! DC’s getting two Native Foods Cafes, opening in September and October. Woo hoo! I’m ordering the reuben if it’s on the menu.
