MORNING COFFEE IN THE GARDEN

MORNING COFFEE IN THE GARDEN

I’m sitting at the outdoor garden cafe at Firehook coffee shop on a gorgeous sunny Sunday late morning (long day moving yesterday–over 12 hours) at a shaded table with my large coffee with soy–haven’t found tea kettle yet…taking photos, but haven’t found cord to download them yet. I will. It’s greener and lush than this photo. Kitties are settling in. The kitty condo’s position in front of the big picture window was the most important furniture decision yesterday.

I got out (as I promised myself) and walked here my first Sunday morning as a Washingtonian. Called my mom to fill her in and she told me how proud of me she was. So did Mike’s wife, Karen, when we stopped at their house before he dropped me off at the Metro station last night. Brave, she called me.

I’m blooming. So much to do and see and LIVE. I can’t wait. I’m not. I’m here!

XOXOXOXOXOXO

    1. Good thing you’re running three times a week; you’ll have the stamina to get through your move, no problem. lol. Best wishes for an easy, stress-free (I know, we can hope, right?) move. Excited for you, too! New chapter 🙂
